Most people today have a hard time getting passed their current muscle state. Yes you will gain muscle, but it will eventually halt. And when you hit this point, you will feel like not continuing on. Rest properly, 6-8 hours a day and nothing less. Your body will repair itself during your sleep. Your body packs on muscle fiber by breaking them down and when you rest it builds them up thicker and stronger than before. Try to eat small-medium meals every 2-3 hours. This allows you to conserve energy because your meals will digest faster. It takes some time to digest your meal. You wouldn't swallow an enchilada whole before chewing would you? No, you will swallow small bites at a time, and your stomach does the same.
